What lens are you planning to get this year?

So far this yr I've bought my tamron 70-200 VC and 35 F2 IS. I also added a 7D body to my gear.

I have only the Canon 60D with kit lens (17-135mm) and nifty-fifty, so I have a lot of things to get, but not enough funds:p

But this year I will definitely get at least these 2 things.
1) Canon 17-55mm f2.8 IS. I am definitely getting this no matter what, need a good walk-around lens.
2) 7d mk2 body or the Canon 70-200mm f2.8 L IS mk 2 lens. Very hard choice, very very hard, the best zoom lens canon has or the new body. Of course if they never release 7d mk2 then I will just buy the lens instead

Next year.
Yes I have long-term plans haha.:p
1) Canon 100mm L Macro.
2) 85 or 135 L for premium portrait lens.

Purchase 70-300 L yesterday, next will be fast prime but which FL?

2014--- Canon; nothing planned less 11-40 f/4 for FF shocks up. I might pick up a pancake lens for my Nex though.

While the 24mm IS may be nice, I vote for the 24L II 1.4 it is much faster than the 2.8 and lightening quick to focus.
I had the 17-55mm IS and it is great, but I don't find a NEED for IS in my 24mm lens. Just giving you ideas in the head

24L II always on my wish list, or maybe 50L or 135L. The 85L is most expensive among these fast prime, will be my last choice. Maybe will looking for Zeiss, but first i need win a lottery first!

-Kipon Baveyes in EF to FX mount (basically a chinese/german speedbooster for my Fuji) whenever it comes out
-Samyang 35/1.4 (once I sell my EF 35/2)
-Fujinon 35/1.4 R (unless the Baveyes works really well for me)
-Some wide angle prime... haven't decided which. Possibly the Samyang 16mm for the Fuji, 24/1.4 for the 6D or the EF 20/2.8
-135L... if I can make enough money shooting this year, crossing my fingers

These are my goals right now, in no particular order... other than the 35/1.4 Samyang, that I'm buying as soon as I sell my current 35mm.

Finally time to start getting some better & longer lenses.

or maybe the 400mm f/5.6L IS?

Perhaps one of Canon's big guns will be in my future,,,

Sigma 24 Art (hoping there is such an animal)
100-400 L II (if the rumors are true)

I just picked up a 24-70 2.8 ii, which was the big one on my list for this year.

I'll be picking up one more lens, and I'm a bit undecided at this point. It could be the Zeiss Distagon 21mm f/2.8 ZE, the EF 8-15mm f/4L Fisheye USM, a 17 or 24mm Canon TS-E (really struggling between the two). . . or maybe even a Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM.

One thing is for sure . . . it'll be wide. I'm presently leaning towards the Zeiss.

The 24L would be my first choice also but on a fixed income (SS) means I must chose my choices wisely. 2.8 is plenty fast enough for landscapes.

Most likely a 50 of some flavor to replace my Nifty Fifty; maybe even something in the 55-58mm range if I decide to go with a vintage model.

I've been staring at Zeiss Planars now for a while, but have put that on hold for a while until I stuff a little more money in to the fun fund. It will likely come down to that and a more idiot proof lens, so I'll probably rent one of those and the Sigma 50A over a weekend to see which works the best for me.

However, since I have a 35, and a midrange zoom which really well covers the normal lens range, maybe I need to think a little bit more out of the box and go for something a little more exotic. Perhaps a 24 or 45 TS-E would be interesting....

So many choices, so little money.
