I bought too much last year (Zeiss Contax 35/1.4, Canon FD 400/2.8L, FD 800/5.6 SSC and ~50 cheaper lenses), so I should not buy much this year.
But I am thinking wheter I probably buy and resell a Sony STF 135mm f/2.8 [4.5] lens. I would like to compare this lens with my DIY apodization lenses (external link).
An unique DIY adapter to adapt this lens to Canon EOS is ready.

I'm definitely getting the 135L, but I'm also considering 50L for a general walk around when the 85L is too long, TS-E 24mm for landscape and architecture, 100L macro and a tele (400 5.6, 300 4IS, 100-400) for wildlife and zoos.

I want to replace my Tamron 17-50 F/2.8 with a lens that has better AF for motorsports. Not sure yet what I will get, but I want something... better.

Went total GAS last year and changed my lens setup, going from 18-55, 55-250, and 30 1.4 to 17-55, 70-200, and 100 macro. Will buckle down and focus on technique this year unless a steal of a deal comes for a 30 or 35 prime.

Year after year after year I make the same resolution: To get the newly available Canon 200-400 1.4x TC lens. That could happen before the next Presidential Inauguration in 2017.

135L
24L II
17mm TS-E

I am gonna get a 35mm, either Sigma or L. Also going to replace my 60mm macro with the 100mm L, but only because I want the IS in a macro lens and 100mm seems a little better for macro. I will keep the 60 as it does well for me for many product shots.

a 50mm 1.4 or 1.2 that autofocuses well. Hope someone finally figures out how to make one for Canon cameras.
