You should have over exposed by a stop minimum.

Basically since your subject is the girl, and not the snow, you have to decide to blow out the snow to make sure the girl is properly exposed. Spot metering or using +1 or +1.5 EC in snow is a good idea. If It was my own, I might try to preserve a little detail in the snow and fine-tune the color balance a bit.
