Fort Lauderdale and East Carribean cruise

I going on an East Caribbean cruise next March and stay in Fort Lauderdale for 3 days before the cruise. Any suggestion of potential photography sites in Fort Lauderdale (I never been there before) and vicinity? I have a rental car for those 3 days.
As far as the cruise, ports to be visited are as follows: Tortola, Philipsburg/St.Maarten​, Fort-de-France,, John's/Antigua, Basseterre.

Ill be going on a cruise in march as well. west Caribbean though. are you thinking of bringing a tripod?

Yes I do. I have a Gitzo Carbon Fibre that fits in the suitcase.

Thanks eagle. Im trying to decide. I want to cause I want to do pano's but im not bringing a suitcase so thats one more thing to carry.
