Thanks, i never considered the qr plates, i might be best sticking to the screw clamp then since i have off brand qr plates. Just need to make my mind up between q10 and q20 now.

Same problem and same kit - q10 or q20!

have just purchased a Q10! will see if my plates are ok or if I will need to buy others.

Well to repeat what I said above look to the long term. If you see yourself using longer lenses or heavier equipment in the future get the Q20. Also the larger ball diameter of the Q20 gives more stability and smoother use, but if you're not going to go above a 200mm lens the Q10 is more than adequate.

In my experience they have been very good and because its within Europe, I got no hassle from Customs.

I think they're expensive, but are they more expensive than buying directly from S. Korea + UK tax & customs?
