Winter X Games

I was wondering if anybody here has covered the Winter X Games before? I am leaving for Aspen this coming week and was wanted to see if anybody had experiences/tips/etc. Like where the good spots are, what to bring (other than the usual lenses etc.) etc.

Isn't photography at this even pretty much restricted?

It is, but I have media credentials.

But even with Media credentials doesn't ESPN get to the prime spots?

Not to be a wise ***, but if you have media credentials, then you shouldn't have much trouble finding your way around to find the good shots. Ain'a hey?

From what i have read here even for the Summer X Games, ESPN pretty much controls where people can get shots from.

So were you able to get good shots at the Winter X games?
