Admit, I tend to be boring returning to the same objects again and again.

This cabin you have seen hereand also here, but I hope I can bring a new angle of view also now. Taken last night with 10-22@10 mm, f/5.0, 5 s, ISO 800. Straight in the middle of the sky you can spot Pleiades (M45) (external link), one of the most beautiful objects on the sky. It was also the last night for Xmas lights, that's why the colored lamps (which were taken away today) on the right. C&C?

This has a beautiful feel to it, Olli. Mystical. Nice detail in the snow and clouds. You've done well once again.
The cabin is always a welcome sight. ;) Not boring at all.
I wish stars were as bright here and my photos were half as good.

I lack the words to convey my absolute astonishment at this pic. Perfect seems an understatement. That should grace wall at the largest print size available. Superb!

I thought to answer each of you individually, but I will simply say to all of you collectively big thanks for so generous feedback.

Yes, I'm happy with the result (though I need to work still with the red color of the cabin, but that is a minor detail).
Yes, it's a great idea to make a large print. Let's see if I have a wall big enough ...
Yes, practise makes you better ... and encouraging and helpful Forums members! :D:D:D

Excellent shot.......it's almost surreal......any PP?? Also, when you metered the shot, did you meter the cabin, the sky, or something else??

Thanks for sharing!
