Excellent shot.......it's almost surreal......any PP?? Also, when you metered the shot, did you meter the cabin, the sky, or something else??

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Leorooster! I'm almost always using point metering, this time pointing to the edge of the cabin ceiling middle of the picture. PP was not that extensive: I increased exposure to make the clouds a bit more visible, and - maybe most important - I minimized highlight contrast not to burn them completely out, then added some fill light to lighten the cabin. Finally correcting the perspective, cropping the corners and standard usm. That's it.

Fantastic Shot Ollie, i still remember the earlier shot you had taken and this one is by far the best one. Surely deserves framing on the wall as someone mentioned.

That is stunning, Olli. The angle is wonderful and that sky just makes the hole picture magical. Very nice.

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Yes, it's a great idea to make a large print. Let's see if I have a wall big enough ...

Olli, if you cannot find a wall big enough to hold a print, I would be happy to come to your aid! ;)

Thanks Daman, I still remember the good advise you gave to me. This time double exposure was not needed. ;)

EXCELLENT exposure Olli, I like the balance between natural and artificial light. Also, This looks like a BEAUTIFUL place to live, albeit a little cold. :D
