Congrats on both counts. Where did you end up going?

Went to Ahmedabad, New Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Mumbai, Kalyan, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Ahmedabad, interesting. Not too many tourists over there. I like Gujarat, particularly that area. Quite clean and less congested. Did you fly to Dubai from Ahmedabad? It's the cheapest airport to fly to Dubai from within India.

Dubai is a great stop over, did you take Emirates from Canada?

Out of all Dubai was the best destination.

Dubai is certainly a culture shock. The minute you go in the airport and you see traditional Emiraties and their wives with a dude in the back holding their falcon. Still an absolutely amazing place for sure.

But for me, they have sold out via their commercialized Bedouin culture. I prefer Oman or other neighboring countries, they seem to keep things a bit more.... real.

Surprised you didn't care for India as much. I can't imagine any photographer not immediately falling in the love with the place.

Do you mind if i ask if it's your first time traveling to what is considered a third world country?

Wow, Bengali's here.... i've visited dum dum, way back. Loved Kolkata but was amazed to see manual foot-driven rickshaws still there. Though i hear they banned them now.
