I do think it would be better if the whole of the eye on the right was covered. Like it otherwise though

I like it but agree with chloeP.

Personally, I keep coming back to the bright line down the middle of his face, it's too distracting. Just my $.02

Thanks, folks, I appreciate your thoughts and efforts. The gentleman in the image permitted me to photograph him, but I had to deal with not only the bamboo hanging in his storefront windows but also the reflection of cars parked just outside. I sort of wished I had my polar filter installed at the time and certainly didn't want to waste his time getting set up.

I'll play a little more with this before I tank it.

This might be my last edit attempt. I nearly cover the one blocked eye and brought in a tighter crop. Any better?

There are aspects to the image I enjoy, but think it might be shy of working.

To me color does not benefit this image. I would give b/w a try and see if you like it.

Ditto on the b/w conversion. I think that the color does not contribute as much to the frame as does the tonal contrast.

I'll flip you guys a conversion soon.

I could have opted in giving the gent a slightly darker complexion, but I felt this lighter version tied in better with the bright cast of the bamboo.
