This place is amazing! The variety and volume of birds is off the charts. It will be a LONG time before I'm done processing all the shots!

I used to go there all the time Pretty awesome what hangs out at a water treatment facility. Lots of great shots so far!

Thanks for the kind words everyone! I don't get to shoot birds often but this experience plus the fact it's 5 min from my house may find me there quite often!!

Great series. I know you concentrate on aircraft but, to me, these are far more interesting :)

Love the Stilts, amazing how they are almost in the exact same position, and the mirrored effect of the water.

Thank you!
My buddy Jay Beckman was shooting with me. He said he's never done birds before (he's a master aviation photog I've been learning from) Well, you should see his pics! They look as amazing as his aviation stuff!! I think we both got "the bug" to start adding birds to our portfolio. At least its all under the umbrella "Things that Fly"! :)
We will be out again in a couple of weeks. Tomorrow we are shooting flying pigs! (A-10 Warthogs at the target range!)
