If you're looking for the 40mm pancake, it's on sale at Best Buy for $99 with some conditions (of course).

late to the party. It actually says no Sony or Nikon DSLR items. However, people abused the k rap out of this yesterday and bought multiple gift cards, prepaid debit cards, etc with it, since the terms are so loose.

Therefore, Best Buy revised the coupon and made it expire yesterday. There's another thread around on the topic.

sucks for the legit recipients of the coupon and those who were going to use it responsibly on a single item, not buying hundreds of dollars worth of gift cards in separate transactions.

Best Buy took a huge loss on this yesterday, I think

I see mention of No "Sony" or "Nikon" DSLR, lenses and etc... Doesn't mention Canon though. (Ha. N/m. was beat to the post by a few seconds!)

According to Slickdeals, the deal is dead. It was a one day thing.

yes, it's dead. however, I just bought a 430EXII using the original coupon.

This was only possible because I was in store just before closing last night trying to buy the same item. The coupon worked but my CC had issues when trying to pay. The guy said I could come back today and they held the flash for me at customer service (being the last one in stock). Since the guy said I could come back today for it, they honored the coupon. I think it helps that I was nice and not demanding in any way...

Darn, I wish I saw this before I went there on my lunch break today. I need a new video card and this came at the perfect time. Oh well it was almost too good to be true.

Damn. I had this and figured I'd at least get some ink for 50% off, and now BB cancels the coupon?

Reminds me why I almost never shop there.

Would've loved a couple 3TB external HDD's. :(

I wonder if the video editors on The Titanic ever went, "Sorry, I can't right now. I'm busy synching the Titanic..."

My wife and I went there around 3pm on Monday and managed to get Game of Thrones blu-ray, an Eye-Fi card, a couple Apple Lightning cables and a few other stuffs. At the time, with the original coupon, there was no limit of a single item. My wife's purchase was short by 2 cents and so she grabbed a Mrs. Field's cookie to add it up. :)

I didn't even attempt to try with gift cards. I didn't think the coupon was intended for that and I figured it wouldn't worth any scene or that their employees looked at me as if I was "one of those people". Heck, I didn't even occur to my mind that Apple products wouldn't be excluded.

I think those at Slicksdeal have gone too far. The discussion has gone to the point that many feel they're entitled to file a law suit against Best Buy.

I got the coupon to work on Monday but only after trying 3 times with different items to make it work... First they denied the Amazon GC I tried to buy, then the Blu-Rays i had were already on sale so those didn't work...

Finally I got a new camera bag plus a xbox 360 controller which were both at full price and the coupon still didn't scan... I asked them to just bring over a manager to manually take off $25 from each item and thats what they ended up doing.

Amazing to read about the different experiences people had with this. I walked up to the camera counter and asked for the 40 2.8 they rang it up and scanned he coupon no problem.
