Im looking at buying an octobox for my AB800. Im going to be shooting full body shots with it and was seeing if the 48in would be sufficient? I know the bigger the better but if im going to be taking it outside a 60in might be hard with all the wind. So just seeing if the 48in would be good for full body shots.

Why octo over a rectangular box? You should be able to get sufficient coverage but you might have to back up further than you would like.

I prefer octabox over rectangular/square just because the catchlights look nicer IMO. But to the OP, yes 47" should be enough. I use a 47" octabox also and it works fine

The Paul C Buff with grid are a great option.
I've owned the Studio Solutions EZ-Pro before and the build and resulting light were all fine - but don't even think of going with their grid unless you can DIY the hell out of it to make it functional.

Just my personal observations.....your mileage may differ

Make sure you get a folding one if you plan to use it anywhere but the studio. Also check about the weight. I have an off brand, its well built, but maybe too much so as its so heavy that it has a tendency to pull the flash downward if you dont lock down very tight.

I have the fotodiox and it is great for the money. Very sturdy and easy to put up and take down.
