that bokeh just ruins that lens for me, but to each their own! all that matters is that you're happy with it.

Which lens? The Canon or the Takumar? Both require an adapter or mount conversion.
Or do you mean because the mirror will hit the back of the lens near infinity? I use Liveview and then have no problem with mirror contact.

I think bokeh is a matter of (personal) taste, I quite like the way this lens handles bokeh. Tomorrow I'll take the lens outside, if it stops raining ;) ...and try to make some decent pictures, but for now: I'm quite happy and you're right, thats all that matters!

The lens performs well in poor light conditions, very new to me (I'm used to f/4 lenses!).
