What's the best way to dispose of an old dslr? Is there a recycling company that could take care of the electronics properly?
I don't want to be paid any money - I just want to do the environmentally friendly thing...
Thanks.

If not, depending on where you live, there is usually sometype of "electronics" recycling. Best Buy has a recycling program, if you have one near you, check with them. _______________

If you are in the USA check with your local Goodwill store. Most of them are now contracted to accept all electronic devices, working or not, for recycling. Canon 6D | Canon 7DII | 17-40 f/4L | 24-105 f/4L | 70-300 4/5.6L |100mm f/2.8L macro | 50mm 1.4 | 580exII | 2 - 430exII |

New laws went into effect recently and you can't put anything curbside anymore.
