skiing at night

Went skiing and took the camera out at night.

The lights on the ski runs created a neat effect. Unfortunately, I had no tripod and there was nothing I could put the camera on as a stand. (Try standing still for 30 secs in the cold... a lot harder than I thought) Both shot at f22 iso3200 30sec.

C&C encouraged!

you shot that hand held on a 30 second exposure??? its amazing it isnt much more blurry!

Excellent for a handheld. NO WAY could I handold for 30 sec. that well without some kind of brace.

Haha, thanks for the props, but you should see how bad the others turned out. And honestly, it looks a whole lot better scaled down to 800 pixels. I mainly posted these not because of the sharpness and detail but the interesting lighting that glows about the trees.

Well, at least *I* thought it was neat. ;)
