I had a girl last night want headshots and some portraits to put in a theater portfolio. I prefer outdoor shooting but its been freezing around around here. I cant wait til spring.

Jan 25, 2013 01:52 | #2 I like #3 and 5. The others would be discards only because of the wrinkles on her forehead are not flattering. I'd also try to get more ambient light into her eyes by modeling light or some other means so that you see more of the iris and less of the pupil. ~Steve~

That's what I was thinking. My son gets this all the time and we call it his "angry eyes" from the eye brow hairs being rumpled toward center. Usually smoothing toward the outside of his face helps but that doesn't help you now, does it? But as suggested, maybe there is something you can do in post. Jan 26, 2013 15:07 | #14 thanks guys, that forehead bugged me too. i didn't catch it during the shoot, but she had such a dramatic smile (shes a theater student) that it came out so prominent. glad i could remove it. Canon 5d mkii | Canon 17-40/4L | Tamron 24-70/2.8 | Canon 85/1.8 | Canon 135/2L
