Kevin, taking a break from fishing on a pier. This was my first time approaching a complete stranger and asking for a portrait. I was hanging out at the pier watching boats go by and a swing bridge open and close and this guy had a hard-living look about him. His response was, "why would you want to take a picture of a guy like me." I told him he had the most interesting look of anybody else on the pier. He gladly stood for about 10 shots while I talked to him about fishing. I emailed him the shots I took. Horizon could stand a bit of straightening.

I love his expression, and he certainly is an interesting subject. I just wish the top of his head wasn't cut off.
