Just like the topic states, please share your portraits shot in the rain. With or without unbrellas. It'd be really nice to see some creative lighting as well. Lets see what you've got! I have an engagement session next weekend here in rainy vancover. The bride to be has no idea he's proposing during the photoshoot. I would love some examples with as much information as possible on what you did to get the shot. Go!! :)

This is all I've got. I've been wanting to shoot more, but haven't found myself with the extra bodies needed for a rain shoot. Things can get wet if you don't have an extra set of hands or four. ;)

Ryan if you're downtown why not shoot around the Library where there's lots of overhang and interesting architecture? If it's raining I usually shoot urban as most doorways have just enough to shield you from the rain.

This is all I have. It was pouring on and off, and my 40D got soaked, but still lived to fight another day.

Looks good. Was that all natural light? Looks like there may have been a little fill?

Sorry, I don't have any portraits in the rain. I generally plan my shoots in advance, and if rain is anticipated, I make advance arrangements for indoor sessions.

... so are we to understand that you agreed to photograph an engagement session, knowing that rain is likely, and you haven't made any arrangements to handle it indoors? I hope you are lucky, and it doesn't rain. Trying to make stuff up on the fly is hard enough on a dry day; finding appropriate opportunities outdoors in the rain is pretty crazy.
