Si i have an image that i took for my wife's blog, my wife got bored of writing the blog and as such its been taken offline. today i was looking for a recipe she had on it and used the image to gogole serach it to see if i could find the recipe online -

I found about 100 links from pintrest -
I also found another site which looks similar to pintrest -

I also found a party supplier company using my image on its website under its - your our customer so here is some free stuff section (my photo and a copy paste of the recipe) - they are using my photo encourage there customers to buy there products (commercial use). - the photo is not a link it is a saved and uploaded image

so i have two questions :
1: This photo was taken a year ago almost to the day - can i still register it.
2: Is it worth registering, i currently charge $125 an hour for a portrait session this was taken for my wife and with setup took about 45-50 minutes to take

im not looking to get rich from this BUT there using my work to make profit i should get soemtihng right

demand a payment from them or at least ask that they included a live link under the image.

In the USA:

Yes, you can register it, but that will only help for future infringements IF you pursue them legally. Since you are registering it after the infringement took place AND three months after creation of the image, then no lawyer will take on the case for you unless you are paying him big bucks up front since these cases generally aren't profitable.

What you can do:
Send a DMCA take down notice to the web host and/or request compensation for usage. Take this as a lesson to register your work in a timely manner.

Here in the USA, the term is "Intellectual Property Lawyer", not "Copyright Lawyer".
