Here are some pics. I took earlier today. C&C's welcome. Shooting with a Rebel XT, BG-E3 grip, and kit lens (cant afford the one I want yet, LOL). I dont know if its just me but when I previewed the post they look kind of blurry, they were clear before I attached them. Oh well I'll get the hang of it.

besides the lighting, I would suggest putting something that actually appears in the shot under her foot, instead of having it "hover" like that.

Lucky you.

Out Of Focus

There are two kinds of photographers...the ones who screw up; and the ones who are about to...

When you re-size you need to use some unsharp mask again to compensate for the quality loss.

That is what happens when you have to resize to post. If you see the photo is not fully in focus after you put it up, unsharp mask it or contrast it a little to get it just right for us. It takes practice, but some of the photographers here are amazingly good at it. That way people don't tell you it's out of focus. It's happened to me before. Don't be discouraged.

Also, lighting and good glass is very important. You can get a great capture, but to make that same picture WOW by a little PS afterwards. Keep posting. Your wife is adorable.

WELCOME. I am learning everyday as well.
