Thanks Gareth, I learned a new English word tonight. I knew the name 'Soft Shield' so I missed that vital bit of information given by Meddin Studios.

The Soft Shield was the first product to keep in the noise emitted by the flashes away from the PocketWizards and if remember well it was not as effective as the Hard Shield. If you use external power for the flashes then only the Soft Shields could be used.

I don't have any problems and I own a 580EX first model and where I life an other frequency is used to control the PocketWizards.

Hi Every Body!! I just Want To share a Session o made last Saturday 19 images done with flash the amazing Cheetah Light CL 360 MOST OF THEM USING 3 lights..the location was complicated but the mobility of the set up cheetah lights with cheetah stands C8 was the perfect combo to move quickly i had plenty of power en using this equipment was a joy as a main light i use the Big soft box sold by cheetah stand and as a fill i used an 80 cm Octabox sold by the same vendor,,,and now because i picture say more than a thousand word let the picture do the talk...!!

The diameter of these two accessories is fractionally too large for the CL-180.

Well i want quality of light,,,not the most comfortable equipment...jejej in some occasions i use jus one light and this modifier:

https://www.cheetahstand.com/product-p/cl-s7.htm (external link)

I use whatever it takes to make the picture i envision..sometimes it requires big modifiers!!...i make my pictures in the shot, not in Photoshop! at the end of the day hard work is required..i prefer at the session , not in PS!---

are these models or real bride groom ?
if real is this on there day ? or after ?

for me I often don't have enough time with the couple which is something I need to change :)

so not knocking the work or creative :) just purely curious as a full time photographer I am wanting to do more portrait work which I never thought I would :) but just enjoying lighting more and more

wanting to do a thing where I meet up later on and do some fun stuff with wedding clients somehow :) and still make money at it :) hahhahah

great lighting as always and carving out a look that is your own :)

Thanks a lot Chad...these pictures are from real Bride and Groom..but was made 15 days after the wedding....my expensives packages include this session where i got plenty of time to make and travel to the session 3 hours....but what i love of the cheetah light its is mobility example the following image was made the same day of the weeding in a 30 minutes total session...so i got to be prepared...

this last gig I got some good shots I was happy with posted a bit ago the BW ones also said OK lets take some time after since they were ending reception early went to the resort they stayed at and got some shots :)

yeah I am loving my lights also :) enough power to do the things you want and more to setup than a speedlight with battery pack anyway :) and light easy to move etc..

take care :)
