I was using a 18" reflector kinda like a maxilite for the elinchrom system. I wanted to go as basic and light as I could.

The more I use 360 the more I understand how to use it. I like that its super light weight easy to carry. I had no misfires with the triggering system. Since I'm not use to using it I need to learn my distance like I do with my quadras.

The more and more I use the more and more I like it.

Scott, is that a DIY reflector? If yes, what kind of bowl is that?

Love your images btw!

Fantastic! Mind sharing the exposure settings? Did you use HSS for this?

Exposure 0.008 sec (1/125)
Aperture f/4.0
Focal Length 45 mm
ISO Speed 400
Exposure Bias 0 EV

I'm using a ND16 filter on a EF24-105mm f/4L IS USM

I don't like HSS or would I ever use it when I have good glass and ND filters

Got it, an ND filter was going to be my other guess if you weren't using HSS. Thanks!

A buddy of mine got a bunch of old gymnasium lights and made some DIY dishes like this as well.

They work great and their cheap and does the same as my maxilite.

The 360 is starting to grow on me.
My fav three things about the unit is:
If fits in my camera bag and I only have to carry one bag and a stand.
Remote power control from the camera super fast and simple
Over 2000 pops and it just moved down one spot on battery. I have not to place it on the charger yet (stock charge).

I was one of those people that thought the price was too high, but after working with it for a month now I think it is worth it. Kinda sad now that I didn't keep the other one I had.

I did buy mine, so I don't need to kiss any butt or please anyone. I like it
