I apologise if this question has been asked before but it is an incredibly long thread.

I have the Godox 360 which I think is pretty much an identical product. What I want to know is what is the maximum power output I can use to get a flash duration of 1\1000th of a second or shorter. Reading the specs it seems that it shoots at 1/300th at 1/1 and 1/10,000th at 1/128.

They are identical apart from the shape of the letters and numbers of the brand and type, the paint may be even the same.

Correct: 1/300th at 1/1 and 1/10,000th at 1/128

Other people can probably answer this better than I can...
But a good estimate for IGBT flashes would be to halve the duration every time you halve the power.

1/1 @ 1/300
1/2 @ 1/600
1/4 @ 1/1200

Again, these are not exact. Should be close enough for higher outputs though.
Based on your criteria, I would guess somewhere between 1/4 or 1/8 power.

Adorama has their Flashpoint Glow 47" Grand softbox deeply discounted at the moment. It appears to be a rebranded Rimelite Grand Box. I thought the 47" size would work will with a reverse mounted CL-360. Pending additional test results, I'd say it's an excellent combination:

It does come with both an inner and outer diffuser and a speed ring is included.

I don't want to speak for Dave, but the design of his mount is to make it focusable.
That's why the shaft running through the back of the modifier is mounted on the light stand via a tilting fixture.
In my view, one of the significant benefits associated with indirect modifiers is the ability to focus the flash tube optimally in the modifier for the light output desired.

I took some meter readings, Scott, with the CL-360 at full power and at varying distances inside the softbox. Meter was stand-mounted, 6-feet from the front edge of the Glow 47. ISO was 200. The results:

OKay you sold me Dave on the Glow, now I just need to decide between the 71 or the 47. I really want the 71, but just not sure if it would get used as much as 47. I'm sure a ring flash indirect would just really sing in the 71.

I think you know I have the 71" Rimelite branded Grand softbox. Yes, it does sing with a ringlight:

I do have that ringflash as well as eco elinchrom and profoto. For the price I should just get both and call it good. I also like that it has Velcro openings for easy cable install unlike elinchroms octas.

You will have to send him an email. I had a conversation with him about this a couple of months ago. He doesn't actively sell them anymore, but he may have some lying around.

New products will hit the warehouse the 22nd. The new improved quadra killer cl-600, Pro S bracket, v860 and more goodies.

So a 360 off camera with a cheetah trigger on top of a Flex TT5 will run canon and Cheetah lights together?

Where do you see info on the new products? The CheetahStand website says to check Facebook for new product announcement, but I can't find it.

Is the CL-600 plastic like the Xenergizer or is it metal like the Safari 2 Godox makes for Lencarta?

Ed ask them to change out the head last year and didn't want to release the info till it was fully tested. Lencarta just posted theirs first

These were the image they sent in Nov.

All Metal Head, mount, and led modeling light to handle larger modifiers and works on the same trigger system to work will all Godox's / Cheetahstands strobes and flashes.
