Three approaches;
A) set the 360 to S1 or S2 and let the 600EX fire it optically. That has limits when outside or if there are other photographers around.

B) Use a pass through trigger such as the Phottix Strato II. This will pass all the ETTL signals through to the 600EX on your camera and fire the 360 via a Strato II receiver plugged into the mini adapter.

C) Plug the CL-Tx into the sync plug on your camera with a PC sync cable. This will require a hot shoe on the sync cord for the CL-Tx.

Of the three the second offers the best, and most flexible approach.

Thanks for the breakdown, I have the pocketwizard tt1, tt5 and ac3. Could I use any of these instead of having to buy something new?

Edward let me order and is letting me run some testing on a cl-600, even before he ran his quality control testing. He was hesitant to sell me one because he wants the product up to his standards before he sells them under his company's name.

If it does not perform like they should, he will not be releasing these for sale. It nice that Edward wont just sell anything with out testing and checking its quality.

Looks like the Cl-600 is up on the site too. It is about $70 to ship to Canada, plus whatever I would get dinged with for fees at the door, so perhaps I should wait for a review or two. This would be my first, and probably only, strobe.

Since you it looks like you will be among the first to get one, is it time for a new thread for the CL-600?

I am also very interested to know what time of battery they come with. Hoping for Lithium Iron Ion Phosphate (LiFePO4).

Can't find the 600 link I see the 860!!

It was beside the V860 under Cheetah Lights. My guess is that it was just up a very short time so Scott could purchase one.

When opening a link I like to introduse the placeholder method for the first three posts this collect important information and links about the product. So when looking for i formation a searcher can look at the first few positings and find maintained postings about the product and has not to search or even worse browse more than 250 pages.
