How would you trigger/control this, and besides size what makes this different from the AD360 and 180?

Your sample photo's look just fine. Even though memory cards are very reliable, it's hard to ignore the "comfort" factor of dual slots. I'm usually dragging 30+ pounds of gear around in a roller bag, so something smaller & lighter (like the XT-1) is certainly appealing. Definitely agree with ALWAYS using the camera to format cards and NEVER deleting images on-the-fly.

My X kit roller case weights about half as much as my Canon roller case and its about 20% smaller.

Its a remote flash head it plugs into the top of a 360 or 180. Since it still attached to the 360 or the 180 it still triggers from the body. It used to fit in places you can't mount a 360 or 180.

It is a play off a post David did back on page 73

I can think of several ways that will be useful.

That is great. The discourse here among you all and Edward certainly has led to useful innovations and improvements. I feel I should say thank you.

I will have to say if it wasn't for Edward a lot of improvements would never get done. He is on the phone with Godox Sun-Fri 6pm to 11pm Socal time, plus running his own business during the day. He makes sure the buyers are heard. If you buy cheetahstand, godox, lencarta, neewer, flashpoint, or ect, most of the changes and improvements are because of his input and the input he gets from all of us.

Very nice camera system. I have it, XE2 and X Pro 1. THIS (external link) was shot with the XT1 and XE2.

David, this is some of the best work you've posted, except the background upper right. Lighting looks nice.

Thanks,
They are inside a sculpture at the State of Illinois building in Chicago loop.
The buildings in the upper right are seen through the sculpture. The lighting was bright overcast.

One of those days we hope for when doing portraits outside. Other than the cold wind. :-)

Scott,
Are there multiple threaded holes available to position the flash tube relative to the modifier?

Is there a metal 1/4-20 socket for attaching to spigot or other mounting options that offer some flexibility?

Its a prototype a lot of changes will be made from concept to finished product.

It will have a slide over locking modifier holder, so there will be no screws in the tube. It will also have a plug in the back, so you can detach the cord. The holder/mount will lock the remote flash head and it has umbrella/spigot mount plus 4 1/4-20 threaded mounting locations.

I'm buying at least a CL-360 as soon as Scott works out the details and starts offering some of the goodies
