They are suppose to be price controlled by Godox, but those are some good deals.

Seams like they don't follow their own rules. ;)

LOL is that going to help remember the chart Ralph.

That and the fact that you'll have a good excuse to verify your power settings.

Lol, depends on the Model.

It must be nice to be young again so you can be picky.

This chart is a starting point and you need to know your gear and what it can do. If you don't know your gear this chart is not going to help you.

If you want more accurate flash exposure then it would be best to buy/use a light meter.

Agreed on both of these points ;)
You are so skilled with all of your gear, that I imagine you already know approximately how to set your lights/exposure settings within a single stop, before you even take your first test shot. I think the person who asked if there was some type of "chart" available is probably not in your ballpark. For that matter, most of us are not in your ballpark ;)

I can drop my stand and be within 1/2 stop or most of the time dead on to what I prefer a proper exposure. I know my gear and know what camera settings and power setting. I'm not saying I better then anyone, I just know my gear because I test it everyday.

They were even cheaper a while ago also directly form China. My earlier posting:

https://photography-on-the.net …p=16980848&postcount=4570

Were I live the prices dropped of a AD360 kit dropped by $ 163 a while ago. When buying the flash inform which version you get because the latest version of the flash has a different socket for the powercable which is not compatible with the previous version.

The connectors on the PB960 stayed the same so that keep using PB960 on the new or the previous version of the flash.

As far as I've been able to determine (yes, I did check), this vendor is not directly associated with Godox Photo Equipment Co. Ltd the manufacturers. It's definitely the same company we sometimes see advertising as "Goodboy Studios" though. Two contacts I've had there have been Kenny and Ada, if that's any use to anyone. I've also had direct and unequivocal confirmation from Godox (makers) that they do not deal directly with the public and have no mechanism to do so. Doesn't explain the 'remarkable similarity' in business names though.

Having said that, I have bought from GodoxStudio (evilBay vendor) twice and they've been totally reliable. REALLY well packed (so well packed that I wrote back to compliment them!), despatched the same day as I ordered and came Registered airmail with a tracking number which worked all the way to UK then vanished (courtesy of our beloved Royal Snail system). Fortunately neither parcel vanished, just not trackable inside the UK owing to our cr*p system. 10 & 8 calendar days transit respectively for the two parcels. I'd have absolutely NO hesitation about ordering from them again.

Phil ǁ Kershaw Soho Reflex: 4¼" Ross Xpres, 6½" Aldis, Super XX/ABC Pyro in 24 DDS, HP3/Meritol Metol in RFH, Johnson 'Scales' brand flash powder. Kodak Duo Six-20/Verichrome Pan. Other odd bits over the decades, simply to get the job done - not merely to polish and brag about cos I'm too mean to buy the polish!

Don't you have this on a cut off T shirt for one of your models to wear?

I advise to it to print it in reverse so you can read it in a reflecting plane or object by yourself.

Anyone know if the Cells II trigger works (read "compatible) with the Canon 6D and the CL-360 for High Speed sync. I have not run across anything but older compatibility reports and that list was short and minus the 6D.
I'm looking at a couple of CL-360's for when I travel light with the 6D and leave the bigger gear at home.

Really loving my Godox AD-360 set-up! The images below was from last weekend's destination wedding. I would typically put together 3 sb910's to get a similar effect. These were shot with 1 x ad360, fts receiver and tx - transmitter was mounted on top of a YN622 to achieve high-speed sync. Sure beats having to lug around my Einsteins and vml's (my HSS settings are very limited with those lights compared to the ad360). For $400 per kit, you can't go wrong for on-location shoots!!!

The Cells IIc is the model that should work with 6D. I think its been confirmed.
Its the model that has been tested with 2012 version cameras.

Remember, its not High Speed Sync, its H mode on the CL-360 and the trigger supports FP sync on the camera.

If you have YN-622c they will do the same thing. Only difference is that you have to have a YN-622 attached to the light as well.

Hi, just a quick tip: don't attach a yn622 on the flash itself. Use the standard Godox receiver on the flash, make sure to mount the Godox transmitter on top a yn622 and place the entire contraption on top of your cameras hot shoe. Also, make sure hss is enabled on the ad360. On my Nikon system, this method works flawlessly - I have full hss all the way to 1/8000 and have flash power adjustment from 1/8 to full power.

Thanks David. I'll get the Cells IIc. I'm trying to keep the gear to the absolute minimum in terms of models and incompatible frequencies etc.

Great captures Iz7j!

Great images! Did you use any modifier, and also, did you use two composite shot to get the look so that you can keep the flash close to the couple?
