I did not get any responses to my previous post about deals for the Godox flashes but I just keep up the good work. I am NOT affiliated in any way to firms or persons other than myself.

The deal is renewed and however the price is up $47 it is still very attractive at 423 USD.

You can read it on the site by ELV and the link is:

http://flashhavoc.com …-witstro-ad360-kit-deals/ (external link)

Remember that the units are shipped/supported from China and that a trigger+receiver has to be bought separately.

Also, these are the latest versions of the flash so it has a different socket for the power-cable on the flash which is not compatible with the previous versions of the power-cable. The connectors on the PB960 stayed the same so that can keep using the PB960 on the new or the previous version of the flash as long you use the correct version of the supplied cables.

Hi guys

regarding the FT-16 & FT-16s triggers...
I realize the receivers are different but are the transmitters the same? From pictures one has black buttons the other grey.

Im assuming the transmitters are interchangeable?

I have a dozen PCB modifiers for my Einstein's. I'm waiting for Godox to come out with a balcar s-type bracket.

Doing a Balcar S bracket would be quite a feat. Might be easier to get Bowens adapter rings for the Buff speed rings. I have them and well as Elinchrom adapters for my foldable Buff soft boxes. The S-EC will make using the PLMs much easier. Won't have to modify the cage with a Bowens adapter. :-) Similarily, I have Buff, Bowens and Elinchrom adapters that fit my Fotodiox EZ Pro boxes as well.

The adapter rings make just about any modifier light unit independent.

Yes.

I have transmitters that came with both and they are indistinguishable.

The Cells IIc works with both as well.

There is only one FT-16 transmitter and that one is compatible with both receivers.

The Pro E bracket has a wider opening allowing more space to access the locking knob.

That's good news.

Any insight as to the special? I signed up for the newsletter but don't see a special. And nothing has been immediately emailed to me.
