So I bought an AD360 from Eachshot. The battery only lasts for about 140 full power pops. I've sent them three emails concerning this and have not got a reply, other than their stock "we got your email" message. Anyone else having issues with Eachshot?

I opened a ticket on their website. They had me mail mine in and sent me a new battery before they received mine. (they do want to see a tracking number). I just got it back today and I am testing the battery so far 130 full power pops (with breaks) and battery still reads at full power.

Now that he's dropped his prices I agree.

While I have some very nice gear, photography is just a hobby. I buy good used gear - most of the time, so I am always looking to save money. This is my first time buying from Eachshot, depending on their response, it may be my last.

I ran into the similar issue with the battery as well. You obviously got a defective product in the purchase. Correspond back that if this isn't resolved in the next XXX days, you'll dispute the charge with the payment company.

Here what I found out using lower CTOs on a strobe or flash that is less then a full CTO the gels get washed out at the outputs I use. Plus getting the CTO mix would be to hard to keep consistent to make.

Scott,
That's probably the case.
I use CTO to balance with lighting in reception venues etc.
The CL-360 is rarely over 1/16th power. But the ability to get the light matched is useful.

Could use a V850 but its about keeping the lighting kit to a minimum. :-)

Finally heard from Eachshot asking me to explain the battery issue that I had already explained in my first support request. Well, I see how it goes from here.

I know what your saying. If i'm lighting inside I would use a speedlite and a gel set.

Like Jesus picture he just posted he uses full CTO and changes his WB to the blue side. The great thing about digital cameras is you can always change your WB to get your gels to match the scene.

When I'm shooting at dusk and want my subject to match the yellow sky. I just change my WB to shade ( no Gel) and now my subject is warmer and the sky becomes more vivid.

Good luck to you. Yeah, I got that before. Seems like a their standard stall tactic. My issue was the battery would not fully charge; it would always show 3 out of 4 dots. Numerous email exchanges... e.g. drain battery, recharge, send us a video, we'll send you another charger... blah, blah, blah. Chit, weeks and then months go by and then eventually they stop communicating.

By the way though.. my vendor was Ucolor, not Eachshot. Hopefully they're better.

August 07, 2014 I traveled out to Cheetah Headquarters in Dallas Tx to test a variety of lights with the Yongnuo 622n flash triggers for Nikon.
The new Cl-860n was also tested which worked flawless on and off camera. The following photo was taken with the CL-360 attached to a 622n and a 622n onto of a D4.
iso 200
1/8000 sec
f/2.8

The 622n were the only triggers that were tested.

CL-180: tested with the D4 and D800 and was able to synch both cameras all the way to 8000. The 180 must be in HSS mode for this to synch though.

CL-360: Tested with the D4 and D800 and was able to synch both cameras all the way to 8000. Like the 180 the 360 must be in HSS mode for this to synch properly.

Both the CL-180 and CL360 were also tested using one 622n on camera and the cheetah remote attached to that trigger and we were able to synch to 8000.

The CL600 was also tested and worked at half and full power using a cable for the 600, trigger and trigger attached to the camera.

Pretty cool Rob. Looks like HSS working. However, dunno about TTLs on Nikon but this image, assuming it's on zero FEC, IMO is at least 1 to 1.5 stop under exposed.

Yea this was straight out of camera and the person taking the picture knew nothing about photography. I just posted this just for the heck of it. TTL's on nikon work but I tend to use manual these days..

I have a CL180 and CL360. I know with 2 Yongnuo 622 I can use the flashes on HSS. One 622 attached to the camera and the other with a pcsync cord to the flash. I have a question with the use on HSS mode with the Godox Cells II. I need two units? or with one on the camera and the FT-16 on the flash I can fire on HSS mode?

Sorry for my English.
Thanks¡

cells goes on camera, ft16 you hold in your hand or pocket as it only needs to adjust flash power. only need one cells unit, not 2.

Hi
I have a 5D Mark III and a Pixel King Pro ttl trigger.
I want to buy a Godox AD 360.
My question is.

Does it work in HSS mode?
