Hi
I have a 5D Mark III and a Pixel King Pro ttl trigger.
I want to buy a Godox AD 360.
My question is.

Does it work in HSS mode?

Maybe someone on the Cannon side of the house can answer this question for you but the Pixel King Pro ttl and Cheetahlight 360 will work but the 360 must be at full power on my Nikon!!

Happy Shooting:lol:

Didn't you meant to write Nikkon?

Rafael Gagliano, The setup that you mention works with the Nikon version of PK Pro! I assume that this method will also work with the Canon version as well

Yes, it will work. You just have to make sure the group is set to ttl and not manual.

have read a lot on this thread but still have some questions.
What does the P in the CL-360P mean? This is the name cheetah stand is currently using. Was the “p” always there or is this a new version?
Have there been any changes to the flash I should look out for? I understand the plug has been changed but is there anything else? Is the power pack in any way changed other than the plug?
Where the tubes changed at any point? Or the connections of the tubes? I was reading somewhere on the thread, that there could be different versions of the 360 tube? Is this true?

I live in germany so cheetah is unfortunately out of the question. I was thinking of getting one of the other versions (walimex or calumet genesis) but now I found the original godox witstros on the german amazon page (.de if you care to look). So the godox 360 with a power pack will cost me about 560,- euros without remotes or anything else. Just want to make sure I am not getting an older version and missing out on something. Or is there a better deal you can recommend somewhere?

Dear Edward,
if only you would sell to Germany…. =(

There is nothing different in performance between the old to the new. Just the pin sockets on the head and the power socket.

€ 560 is way to expenseive you can get it in die Niederlande for €420 + shipping. It is the second release and the one with new connector is the third silent release.

I just checked and to Germany there are no shipping costs if it delivered by UPS Standard (1-5 days) and € 45 if UPS Express Saver.

Scott, does the pin socket change mean that different flash tubes are used from the previous version? Already stocked up on 2nd generation power cords and extensions, but do I need to buy additional spare flash tubes to future proof my setup?

and james, I think scott is only talking about the sockets for the power cord, not the sockets for the tube.

Do you guys think there might be a new version coming soon?
Since the 360 is out of stock at cheetah stand and the price was reduced. maybe these are the last witstros and cheetah and godox are working on a new version...?
