I have 3 360's with the receivers and a transmitter. I also have a Nikon SB-700. Is there any way for me to have the SB-700 on camera while still wireless triggering the 360's via the transmitter? As far as I can tell, the 360's won't fire unless I have the transmitter on my camera which prevents me from using my speedlight on camera.

You can do this with a TTL pass-thru trigger like Phottix Strato II. You would need 3 receivers for your 360s.

Or just put your flash on a flash bracket ( I use the ProMedia Gear bracket ) and use an Odin transmitter on camera and use the Cl- transmitter on one Odin trigger.

Thanks!

I think this option is probably the best...

TTL Flash On Camera – HSS Off Camera

Using some of the radio trigger combinations described above a TTL flash can also be mounted on the camera, while the Godox V850 / Witstro are fired off camera with HSS enabled.

YongNuo - YN622C and YN622N – TTL Flash mounted directly on the transmitter pass through hotshoe. FT-16 mounted on a YN622C/N receiver, or YN-622c/N receivers attached to all the Godox flashes as well.

- See more at: http://flashhavoc.com …ves/#sthash.1bRPdhcs.dpuf (external link)

If I'm understanding it correctly, I mount the YN622N to the hotshoe and my speedlight on top of that. I already have one YN622N so that part is taken care of. Then, it sounds like I need to buy three additional YN622N's to be able to fire all of the 360's while still triggering my on camera speedlight.

Is that correct?

You could do that....or just buy one more YN622N and stick the FT-16 in it. The on-camera YN622N will send the fire signal to the off-camera YN622N, which will transmit to the FT-16, which will go to the Godox flashes/strobes.

Perfect. Thanks a lot!

Tip:

A week in the boot of your car during the heat of the day will flatten charged batteries. (Ask me how I know) :(

Love the image, but looks like she is in the shadow when the bride should always be the main focus. ;)

If you already have the FT-16 and FTR-16 Godox Transmitter and Receivers you just need one Strato or Strato II Receiver to fire an FT-16 Transmitter or Cells II Transmitter which then fires the 3 360's with the FTR-16 Receivers attached to each 360.

Yes, good point. That will work. You will lose the flexibility of remotely turning different strobes on/off independently though but perhaps OP does not need that.

You control power output and "on"/"off" with the FT-16.

Problem with that is to turn any unit off you would have to dial the power all the way down as there is no off switch. To bring it back on also you would have to dial back all the way to the previous power level. With something like the Strato II on the other hand you would simply enable/disable each group without changing the power levels. Again, this may or may not be important depending on what and how you shoot.

I like the balance of ambient and flash.

Nice car though, '67 or '68 Mustang. Classic.

There is always a trade off and no one perfect solution when trying to mix two or more different systems. Having used the Strato II myself for the past few years to integrate Canons Wireless RT system with PCB and Cheetah Lights it is the best solution I have found so far but with a 600EX and Strato II transmitter both on camera it becomes a bit unwieldy. I like the direction Phottix is going with the Indra 500 and Odin II where no extra transmitters and receivers are required to integrate TTL/HSS shoe flashes and studio strobes. If they introduce a new Mitro II with the Odin II specs and quick access button layout (adding an extra stop or two of flash power output and 200mm zoom would also be nice) they will defnitely have an integrated TTL/HSS system that alot of wedding and location photographers are looking for.
