I could not make tail nor ends what a S-FA was and I found the answer on eBay. In what direction will the heads of the speed lights point?

It holds four flashes in line and has a twist locking system to hold them in the cold shoes. You can point them any way you want I guess. I face mine forward

I have been trying the batteries of the Ad360 Flashes.

I wish to show my results and compare with others if possible.

I have 4 Godox ad360, bought at the same time, with no barelly no use. I have shot at 1/1 continuosly, stopping at 76 shots for overheating and following afterwards or next day.

Battery Nº 1: a total of 248 shots
Battery Nº 2: a total of 242 shots
Battery Nº 3: a total of 202 shots
Battery Nº 4 (1st test): a total of 115 shots
Battery Nº 4 (2nd test): a total of 105 shots

I will send back batteries 3 and 4 for new ones as they are in guarantee in Spain.

All batteries charged until I get the green light on the charger.

PLease share your thoughts.

Many thanks.

Ivan

i would attempt to get a new battery for all 4. Here in the states they are rated at 400 or 450 full power pops, i forget which.

If nothing else, you go in asking for all four, if they refuse you can at least negotiate down to 2 or 3.

Here in Spain they are rated 450 pops, which usually is overrated. I do wish to know real examples.

Many thanks for your message

Yes, sometimes marketing gets ahead of real world use, but they should be much closer than that. Real examples are easily 350+, many over 400.

Well that is shocking.

My friend bought 1 through eBay and I bought him 3 in a local dealer in Spain, where I bought my 4.

I am firing non stop and using the double cable. My friend gets a max of 270 shots. Could the double cable reduce the efficiency?

Thank

Ivan

Thanks and my intention was to make a PDF file with the used parts and were to get it. Building instructions and warnings for pitfalls.

But a thread is interactive, you may pick up ideas as well.

I pop tested my godox a few weeks back and got roughly 420 full power pops. The ad 360 was setup next to a fan just to make sure there was additional cooling (heat buildup still occurs inside the flash unit, just wanted to give it a little bit of a hand.

I did not use a two in one cable for the test.

The double cable does not reduce efficiency. If you have multimeter and know how to use it measure the voltage after you fully recharged the battery and state that here.

You click out the lower part of pack and then you look at the top of the battery. Have the two big copper coloured areas the farthest away from you and the left patch is minus and the right is plus.

If it was the first usage of batterypack the battery is not that endurance end at three charges it should have more endurance.

Ok, I've searched through here and can't find the thread I'm looking for. I was unable to get my 360 to sync in HSS today. Here is my setup:

Canon 6D (HSS on)
Yongnuo 622c on camera
Yongnuo 622c on 360 hot shoe w/HSS on

I tried several times and could not get this to sync in HSS with this set up or with the FT16 trigger that came with the light.

Any suggestions?
