I read that this summer won't see the TTL of this flash so everyone hoping to buy them can save some extra money.

I tested today the 360 with my PocketWizards and it went very well.
FT-16 on top of a Mini and the flash on full got up to 1/8000s with a little gradient at the top of the frame. 8 out of 10 points in quality.

Mini to Flex and the P2 ports set to slow (10) gave the best result to me and no gradient. 10 out of 10 points.

Now I set the 360 to HSS and have when I use the Mini to Flex and the P2 port to slow I get a little bright band at the bottom of the frame. In exchange I get the option to vary the power between 1/8 and 1/1 on the flash. Quality to me is 7 out of 10 points.

Version is easy to use and have good results and two gives me almost a extra stop in light but is more difficult to connect up.
I don't use HSS myself but it gives usable results in combination with PW's.

I have yn622 receivers and a yn622-tx transmitter.
I bought the godox ad-360 thinking i could just put it on a yn622c and have full control but as a lot of you probably know, i cant.
I dont want to buy all new triggers as i like the th yn622's.
What is the easiest way now for me to have full controll at camera of the ad-360 and it work alongside my yn622 triggers?

I will start reading back through the thread as i feel my answer may already be there but i struggle with my eyes just on a phone.

Thanks in advance.

Rickmar,

I trigger with 622C and control power level with a FT-16/CL-TX on a lanyard around my neck communicating with the USB receiver plugged into the side of the 360. I'm sure someone may have a more elegant solution but this is simple and reliable.

This is pretty much what I'm aiming for doing as well. I'll just keep the 16transmitter in my pocket and let the 622's do the firing. I'll have the ability for HSS with the 622's as well. Not as elegant or streamlined as a one transciever solution but having the ability to change power remotely is the main goal with HSS as an option without needing cords going into the camera as well as having a trigger on the hotshoe too.

Draderusa that sounds simple and conveniebt enough. Ill take a look.
BrickR, the fastest shutter speed i can get with just yn622's is 250, anything faster and i get the black bars??
I deffinately had the yn622's in hss and the flash in hss but no joy.

You can do HSS with the YN622 and CL flashes. Also make sure you put it into HSS mode (not just regular mode as normal shooting). :)

With Cells IIc for Canon cameras.
A. You do not need to set CL-180 and CL-360 flash to HSS.(with HSS mode, only allow you to fire 10 shot and thermo protection kick in)
B. You can just use regular "M" mode.this will allow you to fire 70 full power shot before thermo kick in.
C. Cells IIc work with Canon camera up to 5DMK3.

Cells IIn for Nikon the same,I tested.confirm work with Nikon up to D4s.

Is there a way to use the FT-16 to fire other brand (i.e., Canon or Yongnuo) flashes?

No. The only way I can think of is to set the other flashes as optical slaves to CL/Godox flashes for this to work. Alternatively you can use another set of triggers such as yn622 or phottix strato for all flashes including CL and use FT-16 in hand just for power control.
