Now you can buy 5 or 10 depending on if you want the bulbs for the 180 or 360. https://photography-on-the.net …showthread.php?p=17909670

Thank you that's awesome.

I ordered 2 of these $10 bulbs. The pics show silver contacts, but what I received were 100% identical bulbs to what I received on my streaklights, gold contacts, same glass cover, same markings on the glass, etc. I can see no difference between these and the ones that came from Adorama with the flash units.

Wow, what an awesome find, and thanks for sharing! I was worried when I first bought these flashes because the prices were around $80-90 for a replacement bulb.

There is errors in their listings but the titles are correct. They picture a 180 bulb in the 360 listing and in the 180 listing they mention in the description that it is a replacement bulb for GF400. I have ordered numerous bulbs from both listings and I received 360 bulbs for the GF400 Title and I received 180 bulbs for the GF200 title. Now if they screw it up in the future it is not my fault. :-)

Do these bulbs not last that you had to order numerous ones in the past? I haven't used my streaklights alot yet, but am a bit worried if I have to buy alot of bulbs.

More likely to be impact damage than failure i would imagine.
The bulb is a long way out in space when mounted, so its possible to damage it quite easily.

I wonder if its worth buying a few spares and wrapping them in various CTO gels (full, 1/2 1/4 etc) to make balancing ambient as easy as putting the right bulb in.

I have thousands of pops on my pair of CL360s (albeit mostly at 1/8 to 1/16 power) with no indication of bulb degradation yet. I carry spares in case of impact damage because there's no way I'm going to find a replacement at the corner camera store while on location. :-D

It's sad that these seem to be ex US Calumet stock and when it's gone it'll be gone. That's a guess based on them not being available cheaply over here (UK) where Calumet are still trading.

I don't suppose someone would like to ship me a couple :)

The bulbs in my original CL180's and CL360's are still going strong. I have always kept an extra bulb of each but that was when I paid $70 or $80. When I found these bulbs I purchased "numerous" just in case.

I apologize if this was asked before but do these bulbs fit in the 360? I have the adorama branded flashpoint 360 but I saw the listing shows the 360II. Just want to make sure I'm buying the correct bulb. Love this strobe! It's changed my workflow for the better by 1000%. Im getting so many more keepers at the proper exposure than I was with my ab800s.

I can ship you a couple through my Invisicord business, but I utilize USPS international.

The Cheetahstand site shows the CL360P as discontinued. Does anyone know if it's being replaced with a new manual strobe having built-in receiver? Cheetah's website is not clear on that.

Adorama is still selling the older 360 at a great price and is selling the new x-sereies. Cheetahstand has stop selling them and is only selling the x-series versions cl-360x

It's my understanding from a conversation with Edward that the CL(AD)360II will be the TTL version only. I think it includes a builtin 2.4Ghz receiver along with the USB connection for the original version receiver.

It will also be auto switching between the three TTL variants so that Canon, Nikon and Sony version X1 transmitters can be used without having to change the TTL configuration on the light.

Yep!!!

Go to Adorama if you don't need/want TTL on the 360. $349 WITH the battery pack and transmitter/receiver.
