I took some shots for a friend. I had one heck of a time with the weather and the intial location didn't work out, so we ended up at the beach (:rolleyes:)
Anyways, I'd appreciate any critique and comments.

a couple more!

I was so thrilled to finally capture a silhouette. I figured out the 'secret'! (for some reason this slight edit looks absolutely horrid on the forums)

the last is my favorite, by far. that is a great shot. the others could use better crops.

The first shot and the last two are the best of the lot, imo. 1 would be better if it wasn't centered. Photos 2 and 3 look more like snashots. The cut off feet in 2 ruins it for me, as walking in the sand is really what the shot is about but we don't get to see her footprints. 3 feels more like an outtake - awkward arm position, shoulders squared to camera, some highlights blown, etc. 4 is again too centered but has a nice expression and light.

Thank you..I will keep that in mind as I'm going to try to work some more negative space into my photos. I wasn't much of a fan of 2 & 3 but included them anyways to see what people thought. 3 probably should have been an outtake, I will admit. Thank you for your explanation, it really helps me!
