Craiglist is full of delusional people. I saw one locally a while ago selling 70-200 2.8 IS mki for 1500 and his wording sounds like that is the best deal in the world. I did have some words with him...

Someone's been trying to sell an Xti around here for about $550 with grip and non-IS kit lens. Oh, yeah, it's been reconditioned by Canon, quote "... a $220 value"
yeah good luck.
Another seller was trying to sell a 7D with a 28-135 IS for around $1700
