The lady on the right doesn't like her hips in this photo...she would like it shrinking. :)

I have tried messing with the liquify stuff in CS6 but struggle with it. Anyone prepared to show me how it's done, by tutorial or written instructions? I can't seem to follow the instructions I have seen on some tutorials, so if you know of a good one, I'd live to see it.

Use a large brush, and be very gentle with small drags, using the very outside of the brush itself.
Not the inside by the crosshairs.

Is the brush on the OUTSIDE, or on her clothes? Do I need "mesh" or anything, or just the brush?

I'll try. :)

Thanks. :)

I wouldn't use mesh. You want the brush on the outside in this case, if you use it on the inside the crosshairs will be pretty much over her arm and that will end up looking really weird. You want the brush to just affect her hip, it doesn't matter what it does to the white background as well, as that won't look odd.

You want the very outside of the brush to overlap her pants by 1-2 mm., then click and drag over.
Very small movements, a little at a time.

Think I just did it...Thanks guys. :)

The issue I was having before was that the smoother edges were getting bumpy. It's just a case of nudging each bit, isn't it? Think I have it now. Gonna finish the edit, then post it up...see if you think it's ok. :)

Cheers

Good work. Liquify is a cool tool but I will admit I only know the basics of it. I literally open the filter & use it ''as is'' which is fine but I know there are more options available.

Nice job.
The trick is to use a large brush, and be very gentle with it.
