I never have my picture shot because I am usually on the other side of the camera. However, my wife wanted to shoot me holding this little rescue pup straight from the shelter to show people that she was nowhere near vicious.

The dog was suspected of being vicious but was just scared stiff in the shelter. It was a "Catch-22" for the poor dog. No one would adopt her from the shelter because she was dirty and unfriendly AND she was dirty because she was scared and would not let anyone near her.
She is really a sweetie but, gosh did she stink. My hoodie made a quick trip to the close washer while the pup received a well needed bath.
This was shot with my 50mm f/1.8 Mk-i lens. I don't really like the bokeh as indicated bythe OOF branches to the rear of he dog.
