I would like to warp something that is at an angle and would like the rectangular warp box to be at an angle too, rather than be at the same allignment of the frame.

The attached selection is roughly the angle I want the warp box to be at.

Is there anyway to do this.

I could make a copy of the image, rotate and crop the image so the bottom edge of the selection is parallel to the bottom of the frame, carry out the warp, and then unrotate and place the warped area back into the correct location, but that seem like more work than it should be.

This is the warp box I get if I try and warp that selection.

It seems you already have your Verticals correct, so all you really need to do is to change the Aspect Ratio of the shot, if you are trying to make the corner of the eves fall at right angles to each other.

For example, in Resize you might magnify Horizontal by 1.13 (or whatever factor gets you there) while magnifying Vertical by 1.0

I see now that the roof corner is about 90 degrees already, but the edges of the roof are curves rather than straight lines. I'm now stumped on reducing curvature of field along the diagonal!

It's a 4 shot pano at 24mm usingthe 24-105; thus the distortion.

I'm going to try my rotation/crop idea.

Take a look at puppet warp for tasks like this. I found it a bit intimidating at first, but after the learning curve, I find it faster and easier than the old transform/warp. Google "puppet warp to straignten" for several eaxmples. Here is one that's close to what you are trying to do.

That's a great idea. I will try it when I get home, thanks.

If you are using CS6, the Adaptive Wide Angle tool will permit you to straighten that curved edge. Without knowing how you generated the panorama, I cannot suggest THE way to do it in the AWA tool. If you stitched the panorama in CS6, the AWA tool should recognize that. If you did not, you may need to play with the mode in which the tool works (panorama, auto, etc.) to see which one gives you the tool's ability to model the distortion you are gong to correct.

This was the the tool for the job, thanks.

It's a pretty amazing tool in the way you can apply multiple constraints in real time and then adjust as necessary before accepting the change.
