These are really nice. Did you use a preset? Start off with a preset? All manual? Regardless they all came out excellent.

Thanks very much!

Started off with a preset and adjusted from there.

Nice set 328.
I feel a little dirty because this is only one exposure. I am too lazy to carry a tripod!! I Like the software it seems to a pretty good job with one exposure.

This was done with the Nik HDR software using only one exposure.

Smart object/filter problems

Hi everyone,
This is going to be a long rant/cry for help because NIK's not been able to help me with this problem and I submitted my first ticket back in July...

I have been using HDR Efex Pro since before V1 was officially released. When V2 became available I jumped on it but have had serious issues with it which will be detailed below with images.

Short version:
My home/personal computer will not create Smart Objects that are editable out of the HDR Efex Pro 2 plugin. It makes the SOs then when they are opened for editing, the colors are way off.

The two computers I have are:
Home - MPB Intel Core Two Duo (64bit) dual 2.53 GHz with 4GB ram, CS4 - CS6 and both versions of HDR Efex installed. OS 10.8.2 (upgraded earlier tonight from OS 10.7.latest version).

Work - MBP Intel i7 Quad core 2.6 GHz with 8GB ram, CS6 and both versions of HDR Efex installed. OS 10.8.2.

I want to be able to go back and edit these files and not have to recreate them every time i need to change something. It is incredibly frustrating as I use this professionally as well as artistically and I need it to work.

Any and all suggestions are welcome.
Thanks!
Jeremiah

I spent some more time chasing this down last night and realized that there is something corrupt in my user account that is causing the problem. I came to this conclusion after opening a different user's account on my home computer and running the same images through the process and it worked fine. I need to go through and find out where the problem is and isolate it.
