Today I decided to see what my shutter count is so I used 1D Count Online, uses a Raw file to get count, and the count came out as 7,089.When I bought the camera six months ago the owner told me the shutter count was about 5,000 and 2,000 more since I bought it would be a realistic number that matches the count.File numbering has been set on "Continuous"since I got the camera but I'm wondering if the count has been reset. Is there a way to check to see if a reset has been done or a better way to get an accurate count?

Thanks in advance, Del

Try this. https://photography-on-the.net …284571&highlight=cancount If this doesn't work, you can always send your camera in to a Canon service center and ask for a shutter count while its there.

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick
