This was a model/photographer "workshop" of sorts. I really didn't care for the location, but I tried to make the best of it. It was actually a campground, and there was stuff in virtually every background that I didn't want in my shot.

I'm always open for feedback.

This first one I'm showing in color and b/w. I felt like both worked for different reasons.

I got bored really quickly of the "follow the rules" stuff. On this second shot I decided to try to incorporate a little motion blur and use the flash to freeze her face. I got what I wanted, but I found myself wondering if it really "worked".

BG looks good in the first two, although the light on her face seems a bit strong, possibly. I see you're from Gadsden. I lived in Glencoe for a couple of years, back in 2006-07.

I think the BG in the first two are fine. That DOF helps to keep me focused on the model.
