I dont know if it came with the Photoshop or not CS does come with the Camera RAW plugin but since CS was released before the 20D, it doesn't support the 20D's raw files unless the plugin is updated. This will be true of any camera that is released after whatever version of PS you have. And vice versa, if you have a camera that was released before the version of PS you're using, you shouldn't need to update the Camera Raw plugin. (So, if you have the 20D with CS2, you shouldn't need to update).

Since I wanted the newer version, 3.3, I had to got to the Adobe site and download and install the newer 3.3 version which comes tangled up with the DNG converter. Bob

Creative Suite 2 Premium shipped with ACR 3.0, and I wouldn't be surprised if the standalone Photoshop CS2 shipped with ACR 3.0 as well.

Please note that Camera Raw 3.0 or higher is not compatible with PS CS(notCS2). In other words, Camera RAW 2.4 is the last update for PS CS raw support. Fee
