This is my first attempt at the moon (Cross Posted from sensor specific thread). It was moon off the back deck with some clouds passing by rather quickly. Which is why the shutter time was pretty short. Let me know what you all think.

Like the clouds - I'd have taken an additional, much lower exposure to get some moon detail, then perhaps this could have been used to get some detail into this shot wit a bit of effort editing.

Thanks for the input. I thought about the bracketing shot, but the moon was just not showing through the clouds too much, so I was not sure how well it would go. I will have to look for another night and try it with bracketed shots.
It is snowing like crazy today, so I am hoping to get to the woods by the house and take some snow landscape shots this evening.

Moon is just too bright. Toning it down might work, but also might destroy the clouds.

Shame the moon is burned out. You need to see the craters and texture. Clouds are super, though.
