I have a 1D Mk3, and a 70-200 f/2.8, 70-300 f/4-f/5.6 IS, 85 f/1.8 and a 24-60 f/2.8
Any advise on the better lens to use? This will be my first MX shoot!
How do you find the best vantage point to get the most awesome shots?

The lens choice counts for far less than your personal curiosity and your eye for action and interesting sights. There will be no absolute rules. You'll need to get on your feet and wander around the course and find what's intense and unusual. As is usually the case in this kind of racing, you'll need to make things up on the spot. No one will hold your hand. You'll be on your own and need to live by your wits. Equipment will not matter.
