Thanks Phil...

Some Nik for structure but mostly Layers and Gradients. Highlights come mostly from a Screen layer.

I laid an Orange -> Blue gradient over both the sky and the buildings (from left to right to force a sun location) and then removed it on the shady sides left of center to "cool" those surfaces. Removed it completely from the jet so it would "pop" and then put a Black/Clear gradient from top to bottom on the sky to give it some extra bite.

Duplicated the building layer, turned that to screen and then picked out the details that should be getting sunlight. Adjusted the opacity of that layer to like 50% or so.

Just a fun exercise.

Very nice, and I appreciate the description. For me, taking the picture is the part that I can half do. When it come to PP, at least anything beyond some basic exposure correction and stuff I'm really clueless. If I ever get some more time that is a skill I would really like to develop.

Thanks for the feedback.

Took it as a challenge to see if I could bring it to life. Certainly wouldn't want to have to do this to an entire week or even a day's shooting but it was fun to try.
