Thou personally I'd wait for the new Sigma 30 before making the final decision.

I didn't know that Sigma was aiming to put out a new sigma 30, thogh with the various problems with the S35, I am a bit gun shy with sigma fast glass. bps wrote in post #15566179 The 85L is simply superb for any type of portrait and I highly recommend it. thanks - do you see any problem as noted with the 1.2 not being better than 2 as noted in the above posts?
