Ok, here goes! I crushed my hand in a machine @ work 7 or so years ago. I have very little use of my thumb, most of the time and only have very limited strength in the rest of my hand to hold the camera and press the shutter button. I take advantage of the technology on hand today fastest lens I can afford, IS, USM etc etc. I use a tripod, monopod, and do some handheld as well. Sometimes, I get ticked off @ myself for shots missed while I'm fiddling with all the buttons on the camera trying to get the setting just like I want them. I'm not looking for sympathy, because I'm sure there are many others out there that are far worse off than I and still use the camera to express their world. I am just curious as to what other photographers have used or done to over come a similar injury. Any are tips, comments, advice or your own stories are appreciated.
