Based upon feedback from my photos last time at this venue I decided to try a new angle to seek some better backgrounds, I think it worked for Vault and Floor but left beam and bars out of reach. Crowds were still large enough I was afraid to move too much for fear of spending the rest of the meet looking at the back of the head of the person with the view. I also shot in a larger file size and cropped less to the noise is far less apparent

Two weeks until the next event at this location, I'm thinking next time I just need to push the risk/reward a little more and be moving the whole time to get similar angles on all events. As always any advice on improving my photos is welcomed, I will certainly willing to try something different with the hopes of using it to help me improve.
I am quite likely going to be shooting some level 7-10 competitive gymnastics tonight at a new venue, though I think the focus is going to be more on learning the sport than shooting so that I know what to look for and can anticipate the action a little better.
