Well I guess this becomes a mission for anyone willing to accept it. With the double overdrive you are talking like 1600 rpms 70 mph. They officially said it has the green light for production now. So word is '09.

According to GM Vice Chairman Bob Lutz this AM, they'll "decide over the next few months whether to build the new version". I expect that they will, but it's still in rumor mode.
